Max - 5 Months

• Max rolls all over the floor and can push off with his toes/skoot to get to where he wants to be. Sometimes he uses his arms too. He is fast. He can move backwards quite well and is starting to rock back and forth on his knees. When he sees you across the room or sees something he wants, he starts heading in that direction.
• Max is VERY social and catches the attention of people wherever we go.
• He adores his brother and loves it when McKay plays with him. He mimics sounds McKay makes. McKay coughs, Max coughs, McKay laughs, Max laughs.
• Max has two teeth on the bottom and another one on its way, also on the bottom.
• He likes to grab and taste whatever we are eating.
• Max always has something in his mouth.
• Max laughs a lot and loves it when we play with him. We all love hearing Max laugh.
• He loves music.
• Max likes to read books. Right now he lasts about 5 minutes right after he as woken up from a nap. It makes it a little tricky to get 20 minutes in each day but we are working on it!
• Max frequently finds his left thumb to suck on.
• Whenever I walk into the bathroom when I am holding Max, he looks in the mirror and grins at me. He knows it is a chance to play!
• Max loves to splash when he takes a bath. I've learned to not put too much water in his tub or I will be wetter than he is!
• Max frequently says 'haaaaa!' like 'HI' when he sees you or when he is playing or just before he gives you hugs and kisses. At the library he saw some girls walking and leaned in their direction and said 'haaaaa' Sadly, they did not notice him. I'm sure it is because we were too far away.
