Christmas Tree

Last night we put up our Christmas tree. McKay LOVES to look at it! It is fun to see how much he enjoys it. We are excited for Christmas.

Going to and coming from Arizona took us just over 10 hours (it usually takes about 8-8 1/2 hrs). McKay was SO happy to get out of his car seat. By the last 45 minutes to an hour each way he was more than ready to be free again. Who can blame him? When we got home, I laid him on a blanket on the floor while we carried stuff into the house. Every time one of us would come through the door, he turned around to see us and grinned. He was so happy!

Thanksgiving

McKay enjoyed being held by Grandpa McCleve and we sure appreciated the help!

In the last couple of weeks or so, McKay started sucking on his lower lip and tongue. Keeps him entertained for quite a while! We enjoyed being in Arizona for Thanksgiving. Reality hit when we got home and the fridge was empty, the dog upstairs started barking and we could hear our neighbor talking on the phone (yes, he talks very loudly). We suddenly missed the comforts of a house and Nanna Anna's good cooking!

McKay got himself in this funny position while he was waiting for us to clean up after shooting. He is such a good sport!

McKay and his cousin Kindsey Porter are almost exactly 1 month apart. The fun is just beginning!

We enjoyed getting to know Kenton and Kardon better. We loved Kenton's "I don't no" and Kardon's "Where is it?" So much to look forward to!

We had a lot of fun shooting... we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather.

Pattycake

McKay loves pattycake even though he doesn't quite do all the actions yet!

McKay rolled over for the first time Wednesday, November 7th. I was gone and Jordan had put him on his back on the floor while he went into the other room. When he came back moments later, McKay was on his tummy! Both of us missed it! The same thing happened to me Thursday so later on that afternoon I put him on the floor and sat on the couch to watch him. I didn't have to wait too long! By Friday afternoon he was rolling all over the place!

Happy Halloween!

First real smiles on camera!

McKay helped me hand out candy to the few neighbor kids who came by while Jordan was gone taking a test. We are counting the days until Thanksgiving break in Arizona.

McKay - 3 Months

October 18, 2007 It is amazing to me how quickly he changes and grows up! He is our 'little man'.

McKay likes to watch football. How can we tell? He turned himself 180 degrees to watch the BYU football game... and stayed there perfectly content for quite a while. Jordan is pretty excited about that. The only way I could get him to look at me was to stand so he couldn't see the game!

I guess I took too long cleaning the kitchen and McKay fell asleep. He loves his bouncer, especially the little orange toy.

McKay is sitting next to Jordan on the couch, eyeing his food.

We are so blessed to have such a happy, good natured baby! He is full of smiles and very free with them, though they are still hard to catch on camera!

Our church starts at 11:00 so we usually have to wake McKay up to go to church. This is another outfit my mom made for him. This was the first one she made for him to be blessed in but he was smaller than she was expecting. So now, October 27 when he is 3 1/2 months old he can finally wear it! Several people in our ward have asked where we got such a cute little Sunday outfit and are impressed to find out it was made. McKay prefers to sleep with his arms up. His Grandpa Moser says "Touchdown!"

McKay likes to look at the curtains I made for him while he is getting his diaper changed. He loves to get his diaper changed!

McKay - 1 Month & Blessing

Jordan blessed McKay September 2nd. My mom made his cute little outfit.

August 14th - McKay is 4 weeks old!

McKay July 17, 2007

McKay Jordan Moser was born at 6:28 pm July 17, 2007 in Orem Utah. He weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces (same as his mom!) and was 20 inches long.

McKay had jaundice bad enough he had to lay under the billilights for 3 days. Sometimes he would hang an arm or a leg over the side. "oh it is just too hot mom!" He was really a good sport about it! We were glad when the lights came and even more glad when we didn't need them anymore.

Proud Daddy!

Little Wild Horse Canyon

Little Wild Horse Canyon is a slot canyon. It is pretty easy hiking for the most part until you get to the boulders that have fallen in the canyon that you have to climb over. The first few I was able to make it over but then I just waited while Jordan went on ahead. We quickly discovered why there were so many people in the canyon… it is the only place around that is cool! We would like to go back again sometime and do the whole hike.

Goblin Valley

Our BEAUTIFUL campsite. We had to sit up on the hill a bit to be in the shade. Boy were we glad when the sun started to go down!

In April we went and camped for a couple of days between Goblin Valley & Little Wild Horse Canyon in Utah. We came to the conclusion that we don't really like desert camping, especially with me being about 6 1/2 mo pregnant and 'roughing it' in the cavity of some rocks/sandstone. We ended up coming home a night early, thanks to my considerate husband.

Moser Cruise

In January 2007 we went on a cruise with Jordan's parents and 7 brothers and sisters and spouses. We went cave tubing and ziplining through the jungle (yes it was raining) in Belize, to see ruins and have homemade REAL vanilla ice cream in Costa Maya, snorkeling in Cozumel, and on an 'extreme adventure' in Grand Cayman which included diving for a conch (which we ate and brought the shell home) going to stingray city, and snorkeling. Supposedly if you kiss the stingray you will have good luck for seven years... guess we'll find out! The first night at dinner, we had our servers announce to the family that we were expecting McKay in July. It was a fun surprise!
