Lights

The branches on our Christmas tree are pretty low... so McKay has discovered he can not only look at our tree but he can also reach the lights and branches at his level. Most of the time it is okay but after a minute or two of the tree rocking I usually move him back to the middle of his blanket.

McKay has gotten to the point where he is really good at grabbing things and HOLDING on. My hair is always a favorite. Somehow he can even grab a handful when it is in a ponytail. Another favorite is Jordan's ears and nose. I wasn't fast enough to catch McKay doing it in this picture though.

It has become necessary for me to buckle McKay into his carseat while I am feeding him cereal. Otherwise he squirms away. I have also started either taking his clothes off or just leaving an undershirt on... we go through less clothes that way. He is starting to really like cereal. It is pretty easy to tell when he is getting full though...

Saturday we got about 5-6 inches of snow. It just kept snowing and snowing all day. It was really beautiful. The picture doesn't do it justice but I thought our tree looked so pretty with the winter wonderland in the background.

I guess the White Mountains have been getting a lot of snow too, especially Heber. It has been raining pretty much every day down here. We sure do need the moisture, but hopefully we won't have any more septic problems!

For as small as babies are, they sure do have a grip...they are able to pinch just enough skin to really do some damage!

I love the pic with him looking over the shoulder! So how short are you going to cut you hair? ;)

I love your tree--it's so pretty! And--I love McKay's little smile in the over the shoulder picture!
