- Max loves to swing & slide at the park.
- At 6 ½ months he crawled from the family room down the hall past the bedrooms while playing with McKay and is now crawling everywhere.The same day, he began pulling himself up to standing (he had been stopping at his knees).He seems to have lost interest in his toys now that he has the whole house to explore and is loving it.He is super fast and I have to keep one eye on him all of the time!
- Max gets so excited to go places and to do things, even as simple as going out to the garage or into a new room.
- He is constantly looking up at the sky and ceilings in stores and noticing what is up there to see. He likes to watch the trees moving in the breeze and often looks out the windows in the family room at the trees in our yard.
- Whenever Max sees a face (picture, web cam, real life) he says ‘HA!’. It totally sounds like a ‘HI!’ which cannot be ignored.
- Max loves music and is quickly calmed when we hum or sing to him.
- Max is a good eater.
- We know he is relaxed and ready for sleep when we hear a deep sigh from his little body. He has ‘sighed’ since birth.
- Max is a very cheerful, happy baby. His smile lights up the room.
- Maxwell is very ticklish and his sweet little laugh is very contagious.
As Max is getting faster, it is becoming more difficult to take his picture!
The laundry basket is the perfect height for him to practice pulling himself up to standing. 
Max loves to take a bath! It is one of the many activities he gets SO excited about. He loves to splash!

Give him something to chew/suck on and he's happy... for a minute anyway!

McKay loves to go talk to Max when he wakes up from his nap. Notice Max has figured out how to put his pacifier back in his mouth.
