Jordan has now completed his first week of working for Hensel Phelps Construction. Yeah!! The first week is behind us! By the end of the week he was starting to actually do some work and really enjoyed it. So far it seems like the job is everything he hoped for and probably more. He is assigned to work on the ConRAC for the San Jose Airport. The starting price tag is $217 million, which happens to be the largest municipality project being built in the nation right now. He is working as an office engineer and was pleasantly surprised by his large office with a view and his name on the door. It has been a bit of culture shock for him to see what is common place with people he works with.

Bronchitis & A New Job

I feel bad for the poor kid, but his hair looks really nice! I think it looks good that length! Chantelle
Poor little man! It seems like when we first move to a new area, we always have to take kids to a Dr., and don't know where to take them because we haven't established that yet. At least you know where NOT to take him, right? Hope he gets better soon.
When it rains it pours! But it doesn't sound like anything a nice trip to Disneyland couldn't fix! I'm glad you are adjusting (slowly but surely), and it sounds like while you've had some bumps in the road, you've also received some pretty great blessings! It also sounds like we might need to come visit one of these months of July. I LOVE garlic. If you get any good recipes, pass them on! kelli
Wow congratulations on the new job/graduations/moving and everything everything else you guys have done recently. It was a bit of a culture shock to us as well to see what is 'normal' for all the people in at the law school and where both Aimee and I work as well. It is much different from Utah. I hope McKay feels better. Are you and Jordan planning on coming to the Family Reunion?
Andrew
No, Andrew, we won't be coming to the Cardon Reunion this year. :(
I hope McKay starts feeling better soon. I am glad that you are getting settled and that Jordan likes his job....that's worth a lot.
